I remember being at camp the week of July 20th, 1969. We were all told to go to the dining hall to watch the Apollo 11 Moon landing. We saw Neil Armstrong become the first man to walk on the moon. It was so exciting to all be sitting there watching this small TV, and experiencing history at camp. I just turned 12 years old the month before, and I'll never forget all the fun I had with all my new friends at camp.
